These Terms of Use govern the relationship between the user and Grosvenor Casino Southport when accessing or using the services provided by the casino or associated platforms. By registering an account or otherwise using these services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms in full. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the services.
These terms form a legally binding contract, drafted in accordance with applicable UK consumer protection law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015, and in compliance with the Licence Conditions and Codes of Practice (LCCP) issued by the UK Gambling Commission. Where any term is found to be unfair within the meaning of the Consumer Rights Act 2015, that term will not be enforceable against the user.
1. Eligibility and Account Registration
1.1 Use of the services and registration of an account are permitted only for individuals who are at least 18 years of age. Age verification is required by law before gambling is allowed.
1.2 At the time of each transaction or gambling activity, the user must be physically located in a jurisdiction where use of the services is lawful.
1.3 Each user may hold only one account. Duplicate accounts are not permitted and may result in account closure.
1.4 The user is responsible for ensuring that all information provided during registration is accurate, complete, and kept up to date. Supporting documentation may be requested at any time to verify identity, address, or source of funds, in line with regulatory and licence obligations.
1.5 The company reserves the right to decline a registration application or to close an account where eligibility requirements are not met or where required verification checks cannot be completed.
2. Fairness and Transparency of Terms
These terms are drafted in plain and intelligible language in line with the transparency requirements of the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Under Gambling Commission licence condition 7.1.1, the terms on which gambling is offered must be fair and transparent.
A term is considered unfair if it creates a significant imbalance in the parties’ rights and obligations, to the detriment of the consumer, and contrary to the requirement of good faith. The company does not rely on terms that grant unlimited or undefined discretion to act against the user’s interests without clear, objective criteria.
If you consider any term in this document to be unfair or unclear, a complaint may be raised directly with the company. Guidance may also be sought from the UK Gambling Commission or the Competition and Markets Authority.
3. Your Obligations
3.1 The services must be used only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms.
3.2 The user must not manipulate, exploit, or circumvent the rules of any game or service, or engage in fraudulent, irregular, or collusive activity of any kind.
3.3 Automated systems, bots, scripts, or similar tools must not be used to interact with the services.
3.4 The user is responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of account credentials and must notify the company immediately if unauthorised access is suspected.
3.5 The user must not allow any other person to use the account.
4. Our Obligations
4.1 The services will be operated in accordance with the licence issued by the UK Gambling Commission and all applicable laws and regulations.
4.2 These terms will be made available at all times in a clear and accessible format.
4.3 Users will be notified in advance of any significant changes to these terms. Changes that materially affect user rights will not be applied retroactively to existing activity without user agreement, except where required by law or regulatory instruction.
4.4 Funds in user accounts, including un-staked deposits, will not be confiscated without lawful and clearly stated grounds. Any action taken in relation to an account balance will be explained in writing.
4.5 Terms allowing the voiding of winnings or reduction of potential returns on open activity will only be applied where the relevant grounds are clearly defined in these terms and are applied objectively.
5. Account Suspension and Closure
5.1 An account may be suspended or closed where there are reasonable grounds to believe that these terms have been breached, that fraudulent or irregular activity has occurred, or where suspension or closure is required by law or regulatory obligation.
5.2 Where an account is suspended or closed, the user will be informed of the reason to the extent permitted by law. Funds held in the account at the time of closure will be returned to the user, subject to lawful deductions and completion of verification requirements.
5.3 A user may request closure of an account at any time by contacting the company through the designated support channels. Closure requests will be processed promptly.
6. Dormant Accounts
If an account has been inactive for a continuous period as specified in the dormant account policy, it may be classified as dormant. The user will be notified before any action is taken in relation to a dormant account. Any remaining balance will be handled in accordance with the dormant account procedure, which is available on request.
7. Responsible Gambling
Gambling services are provided in line with principles of social responsibility. Users have the right to set deposit limits, loss limits, and session time limits, and to request self-exclusion at any time. These tools are available through the account settings or by contacting the support team.
Self-exclusion requests will be processed without delay. Self-exclusion is a formal measure and, once applied, cannot be reversed during the agreed exclusion period.
For independent support, users may contact organisations including GamCare, GamStop, and BeGambleAware.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, software, and materials made available through the services remain the property of Grosvenor Casino Southport or its licensors. Users are granted a limited, non-transferable right to access and use these materials solely for personal, non-commercial purposes in connection with use of the services. Users must not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the services without prior written consent.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, liability to users is limited to direct losses arising from breach of these terms or negligence by the company. The company is not liable for losses arising from circumstances outside its reasonable control, including technical failures of third-party systems, provided reasonable steps have been taken to minimise disruption.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
10. Complaints and Dispute Resolution
10.1 If you have a complaint about any aspect of the services or the application of these terms, contact the company in the first instance through the designated complaints process. Complaints will be acknowledged promptly and a substantive response will be provided within a reasonable timeframe.
10.2 If a complaint is not resolved to the user’s satisfaction, it may be escalated to the approved Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) provider. Details of the ADR provider are available on request and will be provided when a complaint is not resolved internally.
10.3 Concerns may also be raised with the UK Gambling Commission. The Commission does not adjudicate individual disputes but may take regulatory action where a pattern of non-compliance is identified.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms that are not resolved through the complaints process or ADR will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
12. Changes to These Terms
These terms may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in law, regulation, or operating procedures. Where changes are material, users will be notified by email or through a prominent notice within the account area before the changes take effect. Continued use of the services after the effective date of any change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
If you do not accept the revised terms, you must stop using the services and may close your account in accordance with section 5.3.
These Terms of Use were last reviewed in 2025. The current version supersedes all previous versions.
